Tokyo summer colours

Tokyo’s hot and humid summer creates a myriad of natural colours. The grass is super green, and flowers brighten the parks and riverbanks. Yet as wonderfully vivid as they are, arguably none of them can hold a torch to the patterns of a traditional yukata.

Yeah, it’s a great expression. Caught, in a good way.

Indeed the girls or women in yukata in Japanese summer times in traditional Japanese festivals caught the eyes of everyone and the flowers of the scenes. From Edo period even the common people except Bushi class have been competing their fashion with each other in a casual way.
