Very very cool. I really like his face. Really great framing as always too! 🙂

Thanks! Yeah, I like his expression. A man not to be messed with I imagine…

Another great face most excellently captured.
You have caught the moment when the sunlight fires stright up that street. The guy must be staring directly at the sun, and yet no squint or shading of the eyes. Tough.
You really do appear to put yourself in harms way – did you have to dive out of the way, or did the guy stop?

      Cheers!

He does look like a tough fella, doesn’t he? That street is wonderful. Get there at the right time when the sun is shining and you have about on hour or so of truly wonderful light. Without a doubt one of my favourite places to shoot.

I usually focus to 1.5 metres, so fairly close, but at the same time it offers me just enough distance to step aside. It used to bother me, but now I’m quite comfortable shooting at such close quarters. And as it’s Japan, I’m unlikely to get much more than a dirty look or a grumbled complaint. Well, that’s been the case up to now, so hopefully it’ll stay that way!
