The mobile, and the most definitely, immobile.

Great contrast. I love how she is totally ignoring him!

Yes, she’s presumably seen a lot worse in her lifetime.

Nice! I would say he had too much to drink, but it’s in afternoon right? Long night? Any guess?

It was late morning. 11:30-ish I guess. It was impossible to say, but seeing how out of it he was, my guess is that it was a late and very long night.

The elephant in the room; it sort of amuses me that nobody appears to notice drunk, rude, etc. people.
My theory is that the best ninja were drunks, homeless or big gaikokujin as nobody ever seem to notice any of them 🙂

Yes, that’s so true. Amazing what passengers will do on trains to pretend something isn’t happening, or someone isn’t acting odd. When I’ve been on a train when someone has been shouting or behaving unusually, I’ve never seen people look so intently at phones, or concentrate so hard on a book!

Cheers! Great to hear. Always a difficult choice. Wanted something very simple and clean, and this seemed to fit the bill.

She looks very disappointed in the weak nature of today’s youth! 🙂

Quite possibly. They made them tougher back then!

26 years in this blessed land and appreciate your being my eyes in the parts of Tokyo beyond my reach… though I live just 45 to the north.

The new layout lets your photos speak more eloquently.

Thank you. Hearing that from someone who has been here for so long is wonderful. It really is.

And cheers, that’s very reassuring. Been wanting a change for a while, but apart from something simpler, I wasn’t exactly sure what that change should be.
