Not twins. Identically dressed, but at least one of them is not a woman.

Interesting. Not convinced they are twins either to be honest. But when I saw them walking towards me, there was something other than their identical outfits that struck me as interesting. Wasn’t sure what it was at the time. Still not sure now really. The thought that one, or even both of them might not be women, however, didn’t even enter my head. A new possibility that definitely gives the photo something extra.

Interesting shot. Is that their protective brother behind them! 😉

Cheers. Haha, could be, although if it was, I wish he’d gone the full distance and worn the same dress too!

Looks like mother and daughter.
You seem to love the people who pop up at Ameyoko.

Another possibility, Hadn’t thought of that one either.
I do. Ameyoko is without a doubt one of my favourite places. When the sun is shining, there’s nowhere else I’d rather be.

There is a twinning fashion subculture, futago co-de apparently, but these do look a little older than what you typically see in Harajuku or Shibuya.
That fabric pattern is way too busy for these old eyes.
Captain Katshushi really does have your number doesn’t he.
Another fine character capture through your lens.

That was new to me to be honest until someone else mentioned it, although in my defence, like the pair above I’m well beyond the Harajuku or Shibuya trend age! Seems it’s actually a worldwide thing too, although perhaps not in the absolutely identical outfits sported by these two.
And yes, the fella behind really did have my number. Didn’t actually notice him at the time as I was busy trying to gauge which way the people between me and ‘the twins’ were moving to allow me a clear shot. So when I looked at the image after, he was a nice surprise. A feeling that probably wasn’t reciprocal!
