Tokyo’s grittiest subway entrance?

Several years ago, a fresh coat of paint sadly spruced up this subway entrance. Time and the elements, however, have thankfully started to take their toll again, meaning that for me at least, it’s almost back to its gritty best. Scenery that in this case was made all the better due to the added extra of a similarly time-worn stare.

That could be a good definition for a local, unless the paint was rubbish.
Ah! the grittiest stairs shining at their best!

Haha, they are rather clean, aren’t they? But I prefer worn to shiny!

Cool location. Dunno about gritty but the guy sure is giving you a dirty look! 😉

      Cheers. It really is.

More than likely, but I’d prefer to think he was puzzled rather than genuinely disgruntled!

“extra of a similarly time-worn stare” and the blue laces certainly co-ordinate nicely.

Yes, I hadn’t noticed the colour of his laces at the time, but they match the blue of the sign perfectly.
