Tokyo’s most comical car park?

There are sadly plenty of car park photos on these pages, as all too often they replace old buildings and businesses. This one, however, is very different, as it’s downright comedic rather than disappointing. Unusually for a simple parking space, it also asks questions galore. None of which, it has to be said, are easy to answer in any way whatsoever.

Yeah, so many questions and yet not a single answer!

I feel, like this may be a sadder story. Based on Google Street View the car is there for 14 years with no single exception. Since 2013 it doesn’t appear to be moving. Only grows more and more sun protection on the inside. The wheels are losing air too. So perhaps a dwelling place of a person affected by homelessness?

Happy to say that doesn’t seem to be the case. Clean on the inside. Unusually so for a car left like that. Also, although I may have this wrong, it does appear to be taxed. Perhaps due to its location next to a public road. So one day, maybe, it will move again. I’d certainly like to be there to watch if it does.

Requires some skill to get in/out of that space!

I know eh? The car would be in far worse condition if I had to park it like that.
