Torn up in Tokyo

As Charles Bukowski once wrote, ‘you get so alone at times that it just makes sense’. A sentiment that very often rings true, especially in a huge city like Tokyo.

But not always.

I have no idea why im gonna say this, but I think that is such a sweet picture. I just kind of want to hug him (from a distance) and tell him everything is going to be o.k.

I know what you mean Sami. His expression alone makes him look so vulnerable and lost.

That’s true. He looks SOOOO lonely and depressed. He has that lost expression on his face. I kinda pity him. I don’t blame him for grabbing TWO pillows at a time 🙂

Lets hope he doesn’t see this then or he’ll be even more depressed!

I hadn’t read that Bukowski poem before. I like the way you scanned it, by the way. That photo is very jarring.

Nice of you to cut off the “so ronery” at the bottom of the photo, by the way….

Maybe he’s just going through a phase, for the past 40 or 50 years. you know those suicidal repressed and desperate phases.
