Tranquil time out #35

Now maybe it’s just me, but these colourful and almost completely covered quarters are conceivably quite calming, regardless of whether they are run-of-the-mill residences,

Tokyo apartments

ramshackle wrecks,

Tokyo apartments

or even reclusive huts-cum-homes.

Tokyo apartments

And, in contrast to Tokyo’s keenness for concrete, it’s arguably possible to talk of them as attractive.

At least tentatively.

Nice places… especially if you’re interested in keeping spiders as pets.

This is what the world will look like when we are gone.

That being said, that last one has a certain Hobbit Hole cozyness to it.

I really like these kinds of overgrown homes and buildings too. There’s one in my neighborhood I still can’t believe someone lives in!

Now that’s what I call “green buildings”. I love dilapidated places like these. Especially that apartment complex. Never seen anything of that magnitude. Where is that?
