Vacuuming concrete in Tokyo

Exterior concrete walls, it would seem, have a tendency to get a tad dusty.

Gotta love that dedication. I don’t like vacuuming inside! 🙂

Yes, as far as vacuuming goes, it really does seem quite extreme!

The Dust Blows Forward ‘N The Dust Blows Back, and a little encouragement always helps.
I do wonder if the use of such electric gizmos are less likely to facilitate enlightenment as opposed to the traditional tried and tested broom. In the literal sense that one doesn’t look too heavy. He is doing a fine job; I’m inspired.

That’s a very interesting idea. Hadn’t thought of it like that. The men with huge brooms who sweep the leaves and even out the stones on the paths of Meiji Shrine have always struck me as having an almost zen-line appearance due to their methodical and metronomic movements. It’ll certainly be a sad day when they are equipped with leaf blowers instead!
