Thanks! It’s quite something, isn’t it? Found it by chance too, so that was even luckier.

Lee yet again another greatly timed picture! You’re sure you won’t be putting a book out someday? I’d love to have one in my home if you do. By the way did you get this background with any other subjects?

Thank you very much! Very pleased with this one.

The idea of doing one is very nice indeed. Maybe it’s time I started to try and approach a few publishers. Nothing to lose by trying.

Nah, nobody else. It was quiet. A weekend morning. But once I’d got this shot (especially with his expression), I knew I’d be hard pushed to beat it. So I very happily moved on!

Thanks! That mural is quite something, isn’t it? A very nice surprise when I turned the corner and saw it.

Marvellous photograph. The guys fierce expression matches that of the kabuki mask, and timing his head to be cradled in that blank patch is incredible.
Looks like quite a fresh mural too. Nice to catch it so pristine.

Found a photo of the mural part done. No artist reference though.

Thank you! I’ll happily take credit for getting the timing right, but obviously got very lucky with his wonderful expression. Couldn’t have hoped for anything better even if I’d asked him.

And yeah, very good to catch it so soon after it was finished. Cheers for the photo too. There was actually a date and the name of the artist, but I was so pleased after getting this shot that I walked off without noting it down. Next time I’m nearby I’ll find out and let you know.

Cheers. Yes, it really is. There’s actually more of it. This is only about half. But sadly no way I could fit anymore in the frame.

Absolutely stunning. I always enjoy your pictures, but this one is such a great example of the Cartier-Bressonesque decisive moment. You say you got lucky with his expression, but everything is put together so well. This is one of those photos that makes me throw my hands in the air and go back to just taking pictures of my cat to put on Facebook.

Thank you very much. That’s really kind of you. Definitely one I’m happy with. A very rewarding moment for sure.
