Young and old. Modern and traditional. The almost constant contrasts that make Tokyo a joy to meander around.

    I do love the grittiness of this shot and the contrast between old and deprecated, and young and fresh 🙂

    I’m guessing that store has been around since perhaps the Occupation?

      Quite possibly. I was told the area was destroyed during the bombing raids, so it’s conceivable it has been about since then.
