Nice. One of my favourite places in Japan was a small Yakitori place in Hakodate. Miss that place and should probably open one here 🙂

Yeah, the little yakitori places really are great, aren’t they? Invariably full of character and characters.

One thing that amazes me is that given how food-centric Japanese in general are, its is a wonder they are not as obese as many Americans are.

I often think the same thing when I go back to my native Britain. Yes, Japanese food may well be healthier on the whole, but that says nothing for the huge amount of cake and other treats that are regularly scoffed. Not to the mention all the fast food…

Great capture! I like this style in your pictures, makes the captured scene sort of…larger than life, I guess? Love this, sort of like a flash of a memory.

Thank you very much, that’s really nice to hear. I was happy with the way it came out, so it’s good to know somebody else got something from it too.

I guess it is matter of eating less, smoking lots of cigarettes instead and being under a lot of peer pressure that keeps the Japanese slim. 🙂

That’s a very good point. Throw in a good dollop of stress too, and it’s no wonder they keep so slim…
