An old Japanese entertainment district before opening time

A traditional little drinking alleyway where the simple passage of time has taken its toll — both on the location, and the people who spend their lives there.

An old and faded Japanese entertainment district

Cheers. I think so. That was certainly my impression, anyway.

What a great find. The entrance sign looks incongruously new.
I have put my phone translate to work on the sign. There’s a “snack thing 5” “snack luckiness cash” “snack also” “snack bang” and “KH’s Dragonfly”. I wonder why KH doesn’t do snacks 🙂

Thanks. A great little place, but yeah, the sign does look new. Odd considering the state of the alleyway its advertising…

Haha, no need to worry, it’s snacks galore wherever you go!
