Tranquil time out

On a welcome afternoon off work, what could be better than a bit of booze, a brief nap and some ambient Eno* oozing through one’s earphones?

The park may well be busier than usual, and the boisterousness from those who’ve had a few beers is not hard to hear, but as the petals begin to fall, there are far worse places to rest and have a relaxing read.

It’s impossible to say whether the businessman below is on his lunch or between locations, but either way, his leisurely read looks absolutely lovely.

When it’s as unusually warm as it was today, with temperatures easily topping 20 degrees, there’s arguably nothing as soothing as a sun-soaked snooze.
