Cocktail, beer, wine or whiskey?

Or perhaps better still, all of the above?

In Italy, a small restaurant owner puts a cute girl near the entrance to entice customers. Maybe a different approach in Nippon ??

Haha, maybe! I guess it depends what kind of customers they are trying to attract!

LOL I think they do that kind of advertising in college towns. I’ve seen it. It’s effective.

Hmmm, I wouldn’t want to end up in a similar state to that guy… so how about I try to have just a couple of cocktails or beers — and leave the whiskey well alone along with the wine? ;b

OTOH, I may skip the place entirely since that playboy bunny-ish silhouette makes me think it may not be as welcoming a place for females as the other bars you’ve taken photos of in the past!

No. I like a drink, but not that many drinks!

I didn’t noticed the bunny girl reflection til editing it. But you’d be fine in the restaurant. A regular place, but in a slightly dodgy area.

Perhaps his wife told him she would be there shortly, she just wanted to have a quick look in the nearby department store first…

Quite possibly. And hours later that cheeky quick drink turned into lots!

A sleeping bloke in front of your entrance is the perfect advertisement for your bar and restaurant, you can use his forehead to announce today’s specials!

You could. Perhaps even balance some imitation dishes on his head as well!

Good point. Hadn’t thought of that. My guess is he just had way too many over lunch, but it could well have been a very long night instead.

Yes. He could probably do with some real sunglasses though when he wakes up!

Why settle? I say All! Like this guy, maybe?

Is that reflection of a bunny girl from across the street? Oh, and there you are too LOL

I know. Respect to him, and yet I wouldn’t have wanted to be him when he eventually woke up…

Yes. Sadly by far the closest I will ever come to being in the same picture as a bunny girl!

Another excellent moment in someone’s life captured perfectly.
He somehow looks as if he has been settled in that position by a giant invisible puppetmaster. I just can’t see how he can stay like that and keep the right side of various laws of physics.
That’s pretty much how my wife and I felt a few times last week whilst drinking wine and eating cake (rather like this https://youtu.be/ig3pcF-M4LI) although at least we had each other to lean against when it all got too much.
And here is (a stock photo) where we raised a glass you the health of you and your good lady 🙂

      Thanks!

Settled there by a giant puppet master is the perfect description. Wish I’d thought of that!

Ah, the Penrith Tea Rooms. The Withnail and I clip was a lovely surprise. One of so many memorable moments in that film.

And thank you very much. Fantastic to know we were thought of so far away, and in such a lovely way.
