Dangerously delivered dinner

Sometimes, and especially at this time of year, whether it be due to too much booze, the bad weather, or basically not being able to be bothered, having a decent meal delivered is an equally decent idea.

And if one does, it may well arrive on one of these rather ramshackle,

but at the same time strangely beguiling bikes.

Contraptions whose ability to balance full to the brim bowls round busy streets is unfathomably fascinating, with their precious parcels often appearing precarious,

yet happily always horizontal.

It’s now 2018, and 125+ million have been sold, and now available in the UK and US again!

Even more amazing is that they deliver the food in ceramic bowls and dishes. Unheard of in most western cultures because of theft and breakage.

I used a Nikkor 85mm f/1.4D AF for those pictures il sangria. I haven’t had it long, but whilst it was a bit pricey, it’s well worth the money.

Very amazing how the Japanese (and other Asian cultures) ride bikes and motorcycles, it doesn’t matter if it’s the most crowded city or the number of cars.
