Cheers. I was fortunately given a frame to, ahem, frame, so harder to go wrong really!

Wonder what is upstairs? Given the size of the bar, the stairs to it must be very steep.

Good question. More of the same minus the counter I’d assume. And without that there could be actual tables. But yeah, whether you’d actually want to risk those stairs — especially when there’s booze involved — is another matter altogether…

A lovely little bar you have captured every detail of. The deep greens and purples are a nice accent, as is the sort of matching of the owners shirt and the skewer stack.
Stairs? What stairs? Stares I see, but…
I assume one of the signs must refer to them, but my translator steadfastly refuses to provide anything more than something about not putting your coat on the foor. This technology needs some refining. Or I could learn some Japanese 🙂

He does match nicely, doesn’t he? And yeah, those deep colours came out really well.

Well, at least suggesting you don’t put your coat on the floor is good advice! But yeah, the sign on the right mentions using the upstairs area.
