Tokyo blossoms, beers and obliviousness

An urban hike to see the last of the cherry blossom is always a good idea, and for this Tokyo couple, the addition of a lunchtime beer apiece must have made the stroll even more pleasant. The only trouble was that the morning walk and midday drinks very visibly put paid to any further viewings.

It sure looks like they had a long morning walk! 🙂

Yeah, seemed like they’d had a very early start!

That guy’s pose makes it look like he had more than one beer that afternoon/day. That’s possibly the case with the woman too! 😀

I know eh? The fella’s position in particular seemed to suggest one too many beers rather than just the one. Perhaps those in front of them were just the last ones of the morning!

What a lovely moment. The sparse blossom petals are a wonderful accent. There is no better better way to rest your head than on the lap of the of your love. The last time we did the same outdoors was a few years ago in Hyde Park under a line of trees as dusk fell, listening to the Cure playing live a few tens of metres away. And yes, we’d had a drink or two too.

That does sound very nice indeed. I do hope it was a Friday too.

Ah, no, it was a Satruday. But they did play Friday during the encore and also, 10:15 Saturday night at 10:15 give or take a few minutes 🙂
Lovesong was the best moment though – we have the words of that song on our bedroom wall.
