Tokyo car park drunk

The ambitiously early revelry resulted in a similarly early mid-afternoon slumber.

I know eh? And that’s off-peak. God knows what it is during the day…

Haha, quite possibly, although he may have started really, really early. Or even been at it all night…

You sure do capture the oddest wildlife in your wanderings 🙂
He may have been three sheets to the wind, but even prone he looks remarkably well turned out.
I would be looking a good deal more dishevelled before the effects of alcohol forced me to minimise my elevation to that extent.
Perhaps the ticket machine swallowed his card and he’s just waiting for the engineer to turn up. Or he fainted when he saw the prices.

Thankfully there’s very often plenty to see!

He does. If I’m being honest, I generally look more dishevelled before I’ve even started drinking, let alone afterwards…

The price of parking in Tokyo can certainly be enough to make one feel more than a little unsteady. Utterly absurd at times, but as space is limited, I guess they can get away wth charging it.

I’m missing something here. Those parking prices seem very reasonable to me in U.S.
Are prices really lower elsewhere in Tokyo?
Perhaps I’m just out of date since I lived in Japan in one of the prior centuries.

Those prices are just for the early hours though. After 8am they are considerably more expensive. Probably 4 or so times more.

But yeah, out west, or well away from more central areas, parking is much cheaper. Really quite reasonable to be honest.

It is probably a good idea this happened BEFORE he figured out how to find his car.

I hadn’t even thought about that possibility… Let’s just hope it’s where he simply happened to collapse, rather than somewhere he had a reason to be.
