Agree with Linda. Looks like a set.
The very high contrast gives it a black and white feel.
I have to say that the instant of the lady’s expression you have caught doesn’t look withering to me, or even a stare. Almost the beginning of a smile in fact.
The temperature must have dipped a bit. Last week I ate at an outdoor place like that and had factor 50 on to protect me from the sun, having been burnt the week before in Gyoen. (So sad the visit is already personal history).

You can’t fool me, from the lighting that’s obviously some kind of modern theater piece set in a ramen joint.

Does have that look, doesn’t it? So nice when it’s as perfect as that. Makes things much easier.

My thoughts exactly. 😀
It looks almost fabricated. An intensive shot,…the pitch black background makes it super compact.
Really like this one!

Thanks!
It’s a nice little spot. Really good light for half an hour or so. Very happy to have made the most of it.

Very cool shot. Great framing as usual! 🙂
Lee says
Cheers! Pleased the way this one came out.

Yeah, it does have that feel to it, doesn’t it?
That’s good to know. I carried on walking after taking the shot, so never found it.
This one was taken a few weeks ago. Getting quite warm in the daytime now, although still chilly at night.
