An unconscious but still socially conscious Tokyo drunk

Somewhat inexplicably, this young fella decided to take off his belt before drunkenly falling asleep. Yet despite what was clearly a very long Friday night and Saturday morning, he did maintain the necessary social awareness to keep his immaculately white mask perfectly positioned.

Hehe. He looks so comfortable like he was in his own bed!

I know eh? Happily sprawled out there utterly oblivious to his surroundings.

Amazing. Especially since he’s got his mask still over his nose as well as mouth — something that many fully (physically) conscious people still can’t do!

Yeah, that’s what struck me. Not just masked, but perfectly so. Clearly likes his mask, not so much his belt!

Those paving slabs are clearly among the most comfortable in Tokyo… https://www.tokyotimes.org/tokyos-seen-and-unseen/

Haha, they are indeed. Perhaps the pattern is conducive to a refreshing deep sleep.

There’s just not enough space on the wall for that sort of thing; perhaps he’s making an unconscious statement.

The can and the model skyscraper grab my attention; just missing a mini godzilla wading through the shrubbery.

Ah, very good. Maybe a bed-in of sorts for, ahem, beds?

That can is one of those super strong chu-hi, so quite possibly Godzilla is in the shrubbery but isn’t doing much wading due to a suitably monstrous hangover.

What a great scene you’ve captured! I love the tall chuhai can still left behind.

Thanks a lot Coli. Yeah, I like that little detail too. A very telling one as I’m sure it’s the super strong variety.
