P for panties

Yes, you read that right. Panties.

Whether it’s used ones for sale (or not for sale as the case may be), men trying to get a glimpse of them, or thieves attempting to steal them (even when they are being worn), there seems to be an unhealthy interest in all things panty in Japan.

Although I guess it could be argued that I’ve caught the disease myself, as a disturbing number of posts seem to be underwear related. Heck, I’ve even devoted a category to this fetish. It’s either that or it’s good for bringing in Google searches!

Upskirt picture perverts

With a massive increase in the availability of cheap digital cameras, coupled with the huge number of camera equipped phones on the market, the danger of mischief is now never far away. Although to be fair, the mobile phone makers in Japan were quickly on to the pervert potential of the camera and phone combo, making each handset produce an inordinately loud noise every time a picture is taken.

But with Japan’s seemingly vast underground network of peepers (even University professors are at it), the battle against such deviants is always going to be an uphill struggle. Fairly recently however, the police managed to score a rare point against the dark forces of perversion.

Last week it was reported that during March, the police in Saitama Prefecture (just north of Tokyo) captured six members of a gang dedicated to voyeuristic pictures of women taken with concealed digital cameras. The group came together after meeting through an internet site dedicated to their unique brand of photography. And to make their operations more covert, they each adopted a nickname. One of the men rather optimistically calling himself ‘Beckham’.

But the gang’s downfall came when they were caught trying to ‘photograph’ a 20-year-old shop clerk. One member of the group engaged the unsuspecting woman in conversation, whilst the rest of the members approached her from behind (although presumably not all at once) and captured their desired image. A technique apparently well known amongst upskirt photography aficionados.

After the gang’s no doubt embarrassing arrest, one of the members said, â€œI wanted to get shots that my colleagues would praise.â€ Whilst another was quoted as saying, â€œNormally, a person takes upskirt photos on his own. But we did it in a group in a bid to improve our technique.â€

What charges will be brought against these men remains to be seen, but in the future lets hope they don’t get their hands on one of these little wonders.

Heaven knows what kind of trouble such men could get themselves into with a camera that small.

A triumph in design

After the success of its horse and Maiko themed bras, Triumph International has managed to up the ante even further with its new skin bra. This state-of-the-art bra is made of silicone, and if that isn’t enough for you, it is available in transparent and beige.

So without further ado, here’s a picture of the skin bra in all its glory. Which just so happens to be modeled by a young and attractive model.

A marvelous combination of technology and design I think you’ll agree. I was so impressed I bought one of each colour. Despite that the fact that I don’t possess man-breasts, and have never had a penchant for wearing women’s underwear.

Shoeless panty pervert

Last week, 51-year-old Ichiro Shinichi was arrested for illegal entry into a private residence.

Although arguably (if such a thing is possible) he could be charged on 2 counts, as Mr. Shinichi broke into the house once, and then returned to the property later the same evening. The first visit was to steal underwear, and the second was to retrieve his shoes that had been left behind in the garden.

The whole sorry business started when Shinichi was leaving the house during his first trip. The panty pilferer was spotted by the house owner’s wife, and in his haste to flee the scene, Shinichi-san left his footwear in the garden. Yes, despite illegally entering a house and stealing underwear, the thief in question was still polite enough to leave his shoes outside and enter the residence barefooted.

After returning home, the shoeless burglar became worried that the left-behind footwear could lead to his capture, so at 1 a.m. he went back. But unfortunately for Shinichi-san, the woman’s son was waiting for him, and he was pounced upon when he re-appeared in the garden.

After being handed over to the police, Shinichi surprisingly confessed to having broken into the same house over 10 times in the past. If this is true, with such regular raids it makes you wonder if the woman had any underwear left to steal. I have to admit that if (and it’s a very big if) the same thing happened to me, I’d unfortunately be left no alternative but to use the tried and tested method of turning my underwear inside out merely to get me through the week.
