Japanese cosplay clubs

Cosplay it would seem isn’t only a pastime for those utterly bereft of embarrassment, as it’s apparently also a viable business for bars, although as far as this Tokyo establishment goes, the moniker Milky could either be a reference to the costumes, or alternatively the customers’, erm, accomplishments.

Pub Nana on the other hand is far more open about what its clients can come to expect, with stiff punishments and the pursuit of extra curricular activities presumably paramount.

However, exactly what kind of high school girls are present isn’t particularly clear, meaning there could well be the predicament of having to choose from a panty parading pensioner,

or, heaven forbid, a bearded and burly bloke.

Japanese ship or shelter?

While the word houseboat personally conjures up images of ruddy-cheeked retirees comfortably cruising down canals on narrow boats, the concept in Japan seems somewhat different, with the sailing bit obviously seen as a little on the senseless side.

Still, housing wise it does allow more in the way of space,

and also a dainty little door.

Plus, for the neighbourly, there’s rather conveniently a cosy little catamaran concession, which is perhaps perfect for the sharing of condiments or even cabin boys.

Frugal Japanese fashion

Fashion for many Japanese may well be something that is to be feverishly followed, but with food and fuel prices rapidly rising, many people might now have to forgo the nation’s excessively opulent outlets and instead frequent more affordable emporiums.

Some of which, while boasting barely any brand names, and typically aren’t very trendy, can at least aver to be very very Takahashi.

Although whether the added adverbs, or indeed the much touted ‘Takahashi‘, are fundamental factors as far as fashion in concerned, is decidedly debatable to say the least.

Japanese toilet-related treat?

As unfathomable as it may be, many Japanese appear to find faeces something that can be fun rather than quickly flushed away, with the likes of silly toys and cell phone straps merely the tip of the nation’s turd-related tat.

However, as far as food is concerned, one arguably wouldn’t expect anyone to purchase any poop-inspired produce, but judging by this proud promotion,

Japanese poo ice cream

there may well be a market.

And although the fly is presumably only for artistic purposes, the faecal-like foodstuff and the traditional toilet-based tub, clearly aren’t.

Sony-based assertiveness

As a resurgent Sony roars back to respectability with record profits and a decisive win in its the high definition duel, ever the optimist, Watanabe-san of western Tokyo has daringly dusted off his sign,

Tokyo betamax

and once again slung open his doors in the desperate hope of selling at least some of his substantial stock.
