The practice of handing out tissues and discount tickets is played out all over Tokyo, but the teeming hordes at Harajuku’s Takeshita Dori must surely make the task more tedious.
Or at the very least, taxing.
The timer may well be ticking, but a spot of shogi on a Sunday is a considerably more welcome form of clock watching than the type worried about on a weekday.
Considering that carrying a cat or dog around on one’s shoulders is seen as acceptable, then adopting the same approach with a rabbit is presumably just as appropriate.
And especially so it would seem when it’s the type of pet that, even when the owner is preoccupied with taking pictures, is perfectly happy to not only sit still.
But be patient too.
With the added bonus of this furry little thing being particularly adept at giving foreigners dirty looks for having the effrontery to fire off some furtive photos.
